New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, community development financial institution (CDFI) with a mission to transform at-risk communities through strategic investments of capital and knowledge. NJCC works toward this mission by providing access to flexible, affordable capital to finance high-impact projects including affordable housing, community services, and business ventures. These efforts are creating increase jobs, improving education, and strengthening New Jersey’s disadvantaged neighborhoods.Founded in 1987, NJCC is the registered trade name utilized by the Community Loan Fund of New Jersey, Inc. and its affiliated entities. NJCC invested over $570 million to support families and communities in need, resulting in the creation or preservation of over 5.2 million square feet of commercial real estate, 9,700 housing units, 6,900 early care spaces, 13,800 education slots, and 9,200 jobs across New Jersey.
